• Fostering independence by teaching executive functioning skills (i.e. self-regulation, time management, organizational skills) through a multi-dimensional approach with the option of incorporating mind-body awareness/movement techniques, music, and art activities

• Establishing strong partnerships with families and service providers to ensure a student-centered approach
